Greg absolutely hates when I call Gavin peanut or peanut head. I really don't know why I call him that, I have a lot of nicknames for him. Bean when he was in the womb and for a bit right when he was born. I have called him Stink Pot or Stinker when he is being a turkey or about to do something that is a no no. It is funny, now Greg calls him a Stink Pot too! I don't think he ever thought he would say those words! Others have called him G Dog, Gav,
Gavs,
bubba, handsome, etc. I have always given nicknames to everyone, so I am really trying to get one that Greg isn't so opposed to! Like Greg's is Boo or My Boo. Elvis Hank is handsome, Crash is my pretty boy or "sensitive boy". My lovely nieces have them too!
Pyper is "
Punky Doodle", Frankie is "Wild Child" (we just don't say this in front of her Mom, I think Jen is not prepared for her wild ways! Like her Auntie!). Jackson, my nephew, is the "love". He loves to sit on your lap and love you.
Ok, not always, but way more then his twin sister! I love to call my sister "Jackie Jr." But that is a whole different story!
Once again some pics of the peanut at the landing on the stairs, he just lovesssss the stairs. It is maddening. I love that the dogs are very into it also. Gavin's love for Elvis has not waned, but he is understanding "gentle". Normally he would just pull right on his face or tags, but he is doing a little better with that. Luckily Elvis could care less and lets Gavin do anything!
Of course I have added in some pics of him eating. He has ventured out of just eating baby food and rice and is now eating puffers, yogurt, eggs, bananas, broccoli and today tried a little bit of apple juice added to his water. Lately he has not wanted to drink any water, so thought if I added some juice to it he would drink it. Not so much. He is pretty picky, so back to the drawing board!
On another note, I am trying more and more to branch out my cooking! I just got done making a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup. Greg and I will test it out for lunch tomorrow- hopefully it is good!
