My Thursday

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

This is pictures from our day yesterday....... I began taking pictures at 8:15 am. Please note the 2 family members that are still sleeping. Lazy bones.

I love my monkeys hair in the above photos, he looks so much like me! And yes, he is eating Chocolate Cheerios. He gets them once a week...lucky boy!

I then attempted to get him to sleep in his new bed for a nap- it didn't work out so well. He looks very comfy, but completely thought it was fun time. Oh well, he can share a crib with his baby sister when she gets here.

POOP

This is the culprit

How is that for a headliner? My son just went poop in the potty for the first time. I can't believe I am that mother, you know the one that tells every little thing her brilliant child does. Well I think the only reason I am informing everyone of this, is because the toilet is now clogged. Daddy will be coming home to a nice surprise.......Welcome home from Vegas Daddy, now please unclog the toilet!

Not much to say

Well, actually I do have a lot to say, but not in the mood to do a long blog. Yes, I am in that type of mood. It is raining again, with a little spurt of snow for awhile, and I am going a little stir crazy. My son seems to be doing fine, it is just me. It is noon and I have cleaned the whole kitchen, 2 bathrooms, swiffered the whole house, dusted, watered the plants, made soup, and threw in a couple loads of laundry.

Greg is leaving for Vegas in the morning, so I guess I want a clean house for myself this weekend. Did I mention that I just ate part of a Snickers Blizzard for lunch? About my 3rd or 4th bite I realized it wasn't Heath and was very disappointed (my husband ordered the Snickers). That is pretty much it for today. Oh yea, one more b!tch from me, because of our weather this past month, my 5 lovely Lilac bushes did not bloom. I am supper annoyed with that- they are the one and only thing I wanted in our yard when we landscaped and this is the 2nd year in a row they have not bloomed. Phooey. Ok, I am done.

Spring has Sprung!

Spring is officially here, with of course us waking up to a few inches of snow from a spring storm yesterday. It was melted before the day was over! That is why I love Colorado.

We had a wonderful Easter, Greg and I hosted for the first time ever. It was a wonderful time and we had a special treat for the kids, besides the Easter bunny hiding tons of eggs outside! We had some good friends come with their train for the kids. It was pretty much the hit of the whole day and of course the neighbors kids loved it also. Kids came running out to get a ride on it. Greg and I both agreed that it was by far our favorite Easter ever! Gavin still talks about Pat and his train. Here are some pictures of our whole day. Gavin absolutely loved hunting for eggs (I can't believe I am going to admit this, but I am typing this in between hiding eggs for Gavin in the house, he can't get enough of it)! He especially loved the candy loaded in them!

Finding his football egg, I think he is already eating a Jelly Bean at 7 in the morning!

His loot, he was upset there wasn't more eggs to find, I had to remind him the Easter Bunny hid about 60 outside!

Finding his Easter Basket in the bathtub with new PJs and shoes!

The kids making a break for it out of the house- the hunt began!

Gavin finding a few in the tree!

Frankie, Jack and Pyper's loot, they all did great!

The Infamous Train!

I love the fact the kids always rode in the back! The train got quite a workout that day, by the end kids were waiting in line to get a ride. We even had one couple drive by and stop and ask if their little boy- another Gavin, could go for a ride.

Gavin driving the train, he absolutely loved it!

A huge thank you to Pat and Nita for bringing the train, the kids still rave about it.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
