Another Top 5...

Favorite things about CRASH!

5. He is the prettiest dog I have ever seen.

4. He howls in syn with me and now Gavin.

3. He will let me lay my head on his tummy and love on him (Greg about had a heart attack the first time I did this, Crash has never allowed anyone to do this).

2. He looks ferocious but is actually our "lovey" dog and so gentle.

1. He will lick Gavin clean from head to toe and has been the best big brother/watch dog for him since the day we brought him home.

Top 5....

....Favorite things about ELVIS

5. His gas makes it easy to blame any "fluffs" on him (even when he is not in the room).

4. He likes to sit on a chair in the back yard and enjoy the scenery with me.

3. He lets me put bunny ears, hats, etc. on him and poses accordingly.

2. His idea of a big day is going for a walk around the yard and then snoring the remainder of the day, sometimes cuddled up with me.

1. He lets Gavin do pretty much anything he wants to him, ride him like a pony, decorate his tail with toys, play with his tags and give him smooches. He is pretty much Gavin's play thing.

How can you not love this face????

My personal cleaner

We have realized the past few times at my sister's house that Gavin needs his very own vacuum. Yes, a vacuum. He has always been a bit fascinated with the one at home, but they have a "child" one that is just his size. Every time we are over there, he does nothing but play with that thing. "Oh, a party is going on around me and all my cousins are here? Too bad, I am too busy vacuuming the house to bother!" On Mother's Day we had dinner with the Kunz's at a favorite Mexican restaurant and Gavin decided to help the staff, by using their push vacuum to clean up a mess. My child would rather clean then eat I guess! Greg decided to vacuum a few nights ago and Gavin threw a humongous fit- he wanted to do it. Ours is a little too big for him to do it, so I finally got him his own yesterday. Of course he loves it and it has become a new favorite.

A few new things with regards to Gavin, his new words are Hot and Hi Daddy. It is weird that he rarely will speak in front of others, only Greg and I. No matter what we try! He is also loving all his new wonderful toys for outside. His new thing is doing his eyes, nose, mouth, etc. And of course showing his belly, or as I refer to it, his "Buddha belly". The pictures below are of course of him and my cupboards. That child will not stay out of them. He loves to remove EVERYTHING from the inside, throw it all over the floor and sit in the cupboards. Very comical.

Mother's Day was wonderful this year. My baby cousin Taylor graduated from CU on Friday, so we had a bunch of family in town for the celebration. Friday and Saturday were spent whooping it up in Boulder and hosting a party at our house. Sunday we were supposed to go to Evergreen, hang out, go for a long walk around the lake up there. We woke up that morning to poopy weather and exhaustion. Greg made a big breakfast, then we all took a nap for a few hours. We were pretty wiped out. But a great day overall.

Greg and I will be heading to Las Vegas next weekend for a small getaway without the bean. We are both looking forward to it, but it has somewhat creaped up on us! Gavin will be staying a few days with my Mom and a few with Greg's parents. I am sure he will not be spoiled at all. The above pic, I had to put in so people know we do actually have 2 dogs. They are both very handsome and I can't believe I got a pic with Crash looking at me! Below is my son being the climber he is and standing on his toy box. I think he is trying to break out the window and get outside.

A very Happy Memorial Day to all!

A Golfer in our midst

Greg is a huge fan of golf, he has been to the masters a few times and has a somewhat sick fascination with Tiger Woods. I told him that I was surprised that he didn't want Gavin to be named Tiger Thomas Kunz. I dare you to quiz him on anything to do with Tiger and he will have the answer. But ask him the conversation we had last night and he will stare blankly at you. Priorities...... Last week at Target while shopping I decided to make Greg's dream come true and bought Gavin his first set of golf clubs. He absolutely loves the......golf bag. More importantly he likes to drag it around. Please note that he is dragging it around the yard and then has to stop and have a drink because he is so parched! Such his Dad.

Then of course he was so spent that he had to take a seat at the table and have some water. Of course there was already someone sitting at the table(please note the rare sighting of Crash in the picture, this was me trying to get him to sit next to Gavin- yea right!)......
Of course his love for sitting on Elvis is still in full swing. I actually was fast enough to get the whole circle of him sitting on him, bouncing away and finally Elvis getting up and dumping him.

Ride him cowboy! Yee haw!

Maybe it is just safer to lay with him.
As always, Gavin is keeping me very entertained, right now he walking around the house in his footy pajamas with my flip flops on. Very comical. But to add to that, he is also wearing my '80s style black rubber bracelets on both hands. He is very big into my jewelry right now which makes me laugh, not Greg so much!
